One For Me...One For You
Doggy BowTie

Sammy's ADORABLE in his furry bow tie!  This is as simple as sewing a rectangle and gluing a piece of material down the center. UH ... 5 minutes!  BOOP! It takes longer to pick out the material and cut.

Here's what YOU will need:

  • Find 2 pieces of material. I think the bow ties are cuter when the material DOESN'T match, like this green print and furry pink material.

  • Cut out 2 rectangles - about 7 1/2 x 9 inches.  Sammy is medium size, so you can make it larger or smaller, depending on your dog's size.

  • Cut out one rectangle 6 X 3 inches. This piece will be the middle of the bow tie.

Here's How YOU Can Do it:

  • Put the right sides of the material together.

  • Sew along all the edges, but leave an opening about 3 inches in the middle of one of the lengths of the rectangle, so you can turn it inside out.

  • Turn the rectangle inside out through that opening you left. Use a point turner on each corner.

  • Fold in each long side of the smaller rectangle and one small edge (this will go in the middle of the bow tie).

  • Glue the edges with craft glue, then iron. When dry, place around the middle of the bow tie. Overlap the folded edge and either sew or hot glue.

  • Put your dog's collar through the opening and your pooch will be as handsome as Sammy!!

 And now you are DONE!

Now it’s up to you to create your VERY OWN original!!!
