Flower Power T-Shirt

These t-shirts are tooooo fun to make! And they hardly cost ANYTHING to make...so it's a really good present idea! Buy the t-shirts when they are on sale at the craft store (I paid $2.50 Woooo Hoooo). And look for fun buttons at garage sales (garaging!) or at the craft store.

Here's what YOU will need:

T-shirt - get the youth size because they are a little curvier than adult sizes
Buttons, sequins, rhinestones
Fabric or tacky glue

Here's How YOU Can Do it:

Wash and dry the t-shirts before you decorate them.

Pull out your supplies and arrange the buttons, sequins, rhinestones, or whatever else you have.

Then glue on each sequin, button, or whatever you chose. For the Flower Power T-Shirt, I made mine be gluing on rhinestones for the flower, and green sequins for the stem.

Then I added a button for the center of the flower.

Wait until everything dries REALLY GOOD - at least 24 hours before you wear your shirt.

Be careful when you wash your t-shirt. Hand wash in warm soapy water and lie flat to dry. Iron when dry, but don't touch the hot iron to your shape.

You can also make a heart shape if you don't like the flower. Look at the shapes I made.

And now you are DONE!
