Puzzle Pins
OMG! I luv LUV LUV putting together puzzles!!! And who doesn’t have puzzles in boxes lying around that are missing 1 or 2 pieces, which totally throws off the whole puzzle. And since I adopted Daisy, guess what my favorite flower is that is LUV? I’m really into flowers lately. I know off the subject of puzzles, but..... When you have a puzzle with missing pieces that you can't put together anymore - make a DAISY! A DAISY PIN! If you have puzzles with different size puzzle pieces, this even works better (BTW, you can find puzzles for $1.00 at – you guessed it – the dollar store! Just start playing around with the puzzle pieces until you get the shape you like. Here’s the pink flower that I made. I pin them onto totes. Bowsie and Annie - LUV my puzzle pins.
Here's what YOU will need:
Here's How YOU Can Do it: Start with 1 large puzzle piece and several smaller puzzle pieces.
Paint them all the color of your choice. They might need several coats of paint. OMG! I painted them 3 times. But make sure to dry between coats.
Glue 5 pieces to the back of the larger piece
and then 5 pieces on top of the larger piece.
Paint on a coat of sparkle glue. While the flower is drying, cut out two leaves from the felt. I used a smaller leaf of the lighter felt and a larger leaf of the dark green felt.
When the flower is dry, turn it over. Glue the felt pieces on the back, an then place the pin back over the felt and glue securely in place. Wait for the pin to dry and turn it over.
Glue the button in the center of the painted pin.
I put the pin on my green shopping bag.
And now you are DONE!
Now it’s up to you to create your VERY OWN original!!!
